Contact plates
Contact plates ready-to-use microbiological test plates for testing surfaces, liquids, and environmental samples. Samples are collected by swabbing or dipping, after which microorganisms are transferred to the culture medium and grow during incubation. The results provide a visual and semi-quantitative assessment of the microbial load.
contact plates a neutralizer are the standard choice, especially for alcohol-based disinfection. Tests with a neutralizer are used when growth-inhibiting residues may remain, such as after the use of chlorine- or peroxide-based disinfectants.
Plates are available as single-parameter plates or multi-parameter plates.
