Dipslide – Enterobacteriaceae

Dipslide is a selective microbiological test for the detection of Enterobacteriaceae in food production, healthcare settings, and other hygiene-critical operations. The test is used for targeted monitoring of hygiene indicators related to process hygiene and contamination from raw materials or the environment.

The slide is coated with VRBG agar on both sides, which allows for the selective cultivation of Enterobacteriaceae and inhibits the growth of unwanted microorganisms. After incubation, characteristic colonies develop, which can be assessed semi-quantitatively using a reference chart.

This method is used for screening and verification of cleaning and disinfection in settings where monitoring Enterobacteriaceae is relevant as an indicator of hygiene and process contamination.
