Swab tests
Swab tests are rapid microbiological screening methods used to assess hygiene status and detect the presence of pathogens on surfaces, equipment, and in production environments. The method involves sampling with a sterile swab followed by incubation, during which microbial growth and metabolic activity cause a visual color change based on an indicator reaction (detected/not detected).
