Publication Guidelines

The website contains information about our products and services in a field we refer to as hygiene control.
Hygiene control encompasses a range of methods for assessing, testing, verifying, validating, and monitoring hygiene. It constitutes an important part of the broader concept of infection control, which encompasses all strategies and measures to prevent and manage infections or the spread of infection within an organization.

We receive most of the information from our suppliers, and it consists primarily of product specifications, safety data sheets, instructions, and marketing materials. With the exception of the latter, we reproduce the information essentially unchanged. Occasionally, we translate instructions into Swedish or make certain changes to metadata. However, the manufacturer’s instructions (package insert) included with a product are always the current version. It is the user’s responsibility to read the instructions carefully. This applies regardless of what is available on our website. 

In some cases, instructions are not included for environmental reasons, to save paper. In these cases, you can find the instructions on the manufacturer’s website (see the information onthe Documents page).

Our blog posts and articles are written by our employees, who sometimes use AI for writing assistance and proofreading. Most of the content is original, but ideas, images, and text are sometimes sourced from our suppliers’ materials. When we do this, we list Hygiene Diagnostics as the author and give credit to the supplier if we deem it necessary. The target audience for our posts is primarily our existing customers or potential customers. The purpose is to share information about our products and services.

We collect and respond to all feedback as soon as we can. We work closely with the public and prioritize transparency.

Our ethics are rooted in a set of core values based on human rights, democracy, social justice, and free and open discussion, and we are all committed to complying with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as behaving appropriately in situations where there are no written rules.
