Description

GlutenTox ELISA G12 is a quantitativeELISA the determination of gluten in food and environmental samples. The method uses G12 monoclonal antibodies directed against the immunotoxic 33-mer peptide, providing high specificity for clinically relevant gluten (wheat, barley, and rye). The test is suitable for both processed and unprocessed matrices and meets the requirements for verification of gluten-free products according to the EU and Codex (≤20 ppm).

Extraction is performed using UGES, which enables effective solubilization of gluten even in complex matrices. The result is obtained via a color reaction (TMB) and quantified spectrophotometrically.

Features

  • Quantitative analysis of immunotoxic gluten
  • High specificity for the 33-mer peptide (G12)
  • AOAC method
  • Wide range of applications (food, surfaces)
  • Quick analysis (~90 minutes)

ELISA G12 is a highly sensitiveELISA intact gluten, while ELISA G12 is designed for hydrolyzed gluten, where fragmented peptides cannot be detected using the sandwich method.
