Neogen® Flip-Top Dilution Bottle

The Neogen® Flip-Top Dilution Bottle is a line of pre-filled, sterile dilution bottles designed for microbiological sample preparation and serial dilution of food and environmental samples in hygiene-critical operations.

The bottles are delivered pre-filled with a specific medium or buffer, which reduces the need for manual preparation and simplifies laboratory work during routine analysis. The flip-top design allows for quick, aseptic opening and easy addition of samples directly into the bottle prior to homogenization and further analysis.

Butterfield's buffer is used for general serial dilution and sample preparation. Buffered peptone water (BPW) is used for microbiological sample preparation and pre-enrichment. Phosphate buffer is used for diluting and stabilizing samples during microbiological analysis. Peptone water is used as a simple dilution and suspension medium for microbiological samples.

The product is used in conjunction with standardized microbiological workflows and is compatible with Petrifilm™ plates, among other items, for further analysis.
