Megazyme™ Total Dietary Fiber Assay Kit

The Megazyme™ Total Dietary Fiber Assay Kit is an enzymatic-gravimetric assay kit for the determination of dietary fiber in accordance with AOAC .43 and 985.29. The kit includes two method protocols: one for the determination of total, soluble, and insoluble dietary fiber, and an alternative protocol for total dietary fiber only.

The method is based on the enzymatic breakdown of starch and protein, followed by gravimetric quantification of the fiber fraction. The kit is primarily used for routine analysis of food and raw materials and does not require HPLC.
