Description
AlerTox Hazelnut is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the detection of hazelnut protein (Cor a 9) in food products and production environments. The test is used as a screening tool in allergen control, for example during cleaning verification or raw material inspection.
The method is based on antibodies that target a specific storage protein in hazelnuts and provides a qualitative result based on visual interpretation. The analysis can be performed directly on solid samples, liquids, or surfaces without the need for advanced equipment.
