Description
AlerTox ELISA is aELISA for the quantitative determination of soy in food. The assay is based on the detection of soybean trypsin inhibitor and is intended for quality assurance and verification in a laboratory setting. The kit has a detection limit of 16 ppb, a quantification limit of 50 ppb, and a quantification range of 50–600 ppb. The method has been validated in several typical matrices, including chocolate, cookies, cornflakes, ice cream, powdered soup, and sausage. The extraction protocol is also compatible with several other AlerTox ELISA, which simplifies multi-allergen testing.
