AlerTox® ELISA

AlerTox ELISA is a quantitativeELISA the determination of peanuts in food. The method is based on antibody-specific binding and photometric measurement at 450 nm, where the signal is proportional to the concentration. The assay is optimized for complex matrices such as baked goods, chocolate, dairy products, and processed foods.

The test uses a standardized extraction protocol that allows for the analysis of multiple allergens from the same sample extract. Results are available in approximately 60 minutes and are expressed as whole peanut content, with the option to convert to protein content.
