AlerTox® ELISA

AlerTox ELISA is a quantitativeELISA for the determination of sesame in food and beverages. The method is based on antibody-based detection, where the signal is proportional to the concentration of sesame protein. The assay is optimized for laboratory use and is employed for the verification, validation, and release of products.

The kit has a detection limit of 0.2 ppm and a quantification range of 2–20 ppm, enabling accurate assessment of low allergen levels. The analysis takes approximately 60 minutes, and up to 96 tests can be run simultaneously. The method has been validated for a wide range of matrices, including heat-treated foods.
