TST Load Check Control Indicator 134°C – 5.3 min / 121°C – 15 min

The TST Load Check-Control Indicator is a reliable method for verifying the critical parameters of the sterilization process.

Quantity: 400 pcs + 1 Helix per package
Item number: STE3778AB
Brand:
Parameter: Vapor penetration

Description

The TST Load Check Control Indicator is used to verify steam penetration in actual sterilization loads during steam sterilization. The system is designed as a Process Challenge Device (PCD) and combines a helical design with TST Control indicators to simulate critical sterilization conditions.

The Load Check is placed at the center of the load, where steam penetration is most challenging. This allows for a direct assessment of whether sterilization conditions have been achieved under actual conditions, and not merely within the free chamber of the autoclave.

The system is based on a helical barrier through which steam must penetrate a lumen to reach the indicator. When the correct combination of temperature, time, and saturated steam is achieved, a distinct color change from yellow to blue/purple occurs. A lack of color change or an uneven color change indicates insufficient steam penetration.

This model is calibrated for longer sterilization cycles and is used in processes where a higher safety margin or more demanding load conditions are present. The product is used to support decisions regarding the release of sterilized goods.

The system comes complete with a helix unit and single-use indicators.
