foodproof® Spoilage Yeast Detection 1 LyoKit is aPCR for the detection of spoilage yeasts in food and beverages. The product is available in several versions (LP, RP, and DP), each targeting different target organisms.

The assay uses lyophilized reagents in pre-formatted strips, which minimizes manual handling and reduces the risk of contamination. Results are available within approximately 2–3 hours, providing rapid and reliable verification compared to traditional culture.
