foodproof® Beer Screening Kit

The foodproof® Beer Screening Kit is aPCR assay kit for screening for beer-spoiling bacteria in brewing processes. The method enables the simultaneous detection of a broad spectrum of relevant microorganisms within the genera Lactobacillus, Pediococcus, Pectinatus, and Megasphaera, with the option of species identification via melting curve analysis.

The assay is designed for quality control in beer production and can detect low-level contamination, enabling early intervention and minimizing batch losses. The system is compatible with standardPCR and provides results within approximately 48–72 hours.
