Neogen® Enviro Swab

Neogen® Enviro Swab is a pre-moistened (with a small amount of neutralizing medium) sampling swab designed for microbiological environmental sampling of surfaces, equipment, and production environments in food production and other hygiene-critical operations. The swab is used to collect microorganisms from surfaces prior to further microbiological analysis according to the laboratory’s own methods.

After sampling, add 20 mL of the culture medium or analysis medium of your choice, depending on the selected analysis method. The product does not contain a ready-to-use culture medium for incubation; rather, it functions as a sampling system in which the laboratory itself determines the subsequent sample preparation and analysis workflow.
