Neogen® Sponge – Sampling sponge with bag

Neogen® Hydrated Sponge is a sterile cellulose sponge designed for microbiological environmental sampling in food production facilities, laboratories, and other hygiene-critical environments. The sponge is supplied in an integrated sample bag and is used for sampling surfaces, equipment, production lines, and other environmental surfaces.

The product family is variant-based and includes both dry and pre-moistened variants containing, for example, buffered peptone water, neutralizing medium, Letheen, and D/E neutralizing medium. The choice of variant depends on the sample type, disinfection environment, and analytical method.
