Megazyme™ Carrez Clarification Kit

The Megazyme™ Carrez Clarification Kit is used for sample preparation when interfering components such as proteins and lipids need to be removed prior to analysis. The method is based on the Carrez reaction, in which these components are precipitated and removed by filtration or centrifugation.

The kit is used as a complement to enzymatic assay kits in cases where the sample matrix would otherwise interfere with the measurement, particularly when analyzing carbohydrates and alcohols.
