Maltose/Sucrose/D-Glucose Assay Kit

The Megazyme™ Maltose/Sucrose/D-Glucose Assay Kit is used for the specific and differentiated analysis of three key sugars—maltose, sucrose, and D-glucose—in food and biological matrices. The method is based on enzymatic hydrolysis followed by quantification via hexokinase/glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, where the formation of NADPH is measured spectrophotometrically at 340 nm.

The analysis allows for the separate determination of each sugar through sequential enzymatic conversion, which provides high selectivity even in complex sample matrices.
