Megazyme™ Acetic Acid Assay Kit
The Megazyme™ Acetic Acid Assay Kit (ACS Manual Format) is an enzymatic assay kit for the specific quantification of acetic acid (acetate) in food, beverages, and other materials. The method is based on spectrophotometric measurement at 340 nm and provides reproducible results for laboratories requiring accurate analysis of organic acids.
Description
The Megazyme™ Acetic Acid Assay Kit (ACS Manual Format) is designed for rapid and reliable analysis of acetic acid in complex matrices. The method is based on enzymatic conversion, with the signal measured as an increase in absorbance at 340 nm, enabling precise quantification even at low concentrations.
The kit is optimized for food and beverage analysis but can also be used in pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications, for example. Built-in stabilizers, such as PVP, minimize interference from polyphenols and tannins and ensure robust performance even in challenging samples.
Features
- Specific enzymatic analysis of acetic acid (acetate)
- Spectrophotometric detection at 340 nm
- High sensitivity and low detection limit
- Stable reagent design (shelf life of over 2 years)
- Reduced interference from phenolic compounds
- Wide range of applications (food, beverages, biological samples)
