Neogen® Peanut Protein Rapid Kit

The Peanut Protein Rapid Kit is a lateral flow-based test for rapid screening of peanut residues in production environments. The test is used to verify cleaning, identify contamination points, and support allergen control in food production.

The method is based on immunochromatography, in which peanut proteins bind to specific antibodies to produce a visual result. The test is suitable for use with various sample types, including surface swabs, CIP rinse water, and food samples.

The sensitivity is in the low ppm range, enabling the detection of trace levels of peanuts, which makes the test suitable for verifying cleaning processes and assessing allergen risk.
