Description
GlutenTox® Home is a portable test based on lateral flow technology for rapid detection of gluten in food and related matrices. The test uses the G12 monoclonal antibody, which specifically detects the immunotoxic 33-mer peptide from gliadin—the fraction relevant to celiac disease.
The method is designed for simple and straightforward use with ready-to-use extraction and dilution solutions, enabling analysis without the need for instruments. Results are obtained visually using a test cassette.
The test can be set to two detection levels (5 ppm or 20 ppm), making it possible to verify compliance with the Codex limit for “gluten-free” (≤20 ppm).
