AlerTox® ELISA

AlerTox ELISA is a laboratory-based assay kit for the quantitative determination of fish protein (parvalbumin) in food products, raw materials, and process samples. The method is based onELISA high specificity and sensitivity, and is used for the verification, validation, and quantification of allergen levels.

The analysis involves sample extraction followed by immunological detection in a microtiter plate and reading at 450 nm. The method is suitable for a wide range of matrices, but sensitivity may be affected by processing and fat content.
