Chemdye® Washing Indicator Holder – Splat and Integron Holders

The Chemdye® Washing Indicator Holder (CDWAH) is designed for use with Chemdye® Splat cleaning indicators and the Integron® IT27W for monitoring and validating dishwashing processes. The holder is placed in the dishwasher’s basket or rack and ensures a consistent and reproducible position between cycles.

The design creates a defined “worst-case” scenario in which the indicator is exposed both indirectly and through a limited flow via a metal mesh. This simulates critical areas such as instrument channels and shaded surfaces where cleaning is most difficult to achieve.

This design allows for the reliable identification of deviations in process parameters such as water flow, temperature, chemical dosing, and mechanical stress. The holder is therefore used for both routine monitoring and the validation of dishwasher disinfection processes.
