Chemdye® Splat – Cleaning Indicator (Pink)

Chemdye® Splat is a cleaning indicator based on a standardized test soil validated against ISO 15883-5:2005, consisting of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. When cleaned properly, the coating is completely removed, providing clear visual verification of the process’s effectiveness.

The indicator is used for routine monitoring and validation of dishwasher disinfectors and ultrasonic cleaners, where it enables the identification of deviations in critical parameters such as time, temperature, mechanical action, water quality, and detergent dosage.

To simulate hard-to-reach surfaces, the indicator is placed in a holder (CDWAH-U for ultrasonic baths or CDWAH for dishwasher-disinfectors), which provides a more realistic and reproducible assessment of the cleaning process.

Results can be documented manually or integrated into digital systems for traceability, such as Tranzanto, to enable centralized monitoring of cleaning processes.
