Bionova® CaviTest – Automatic reader for cavitation testing

CaviTest is an auto-reader instrument designed to read Chemdye® CDWU-Z cavitation tests in ultrasonic baths. The instrument measures the indicator’s color change through optical analysis and converts the result into a quantifiable value (cavitation index) as well as a clear PASS/FAIL determination.

By eliminating subjective visual interpretation, CaviTest enables a standardized and reproducible assessment of the intensity and distribution of cavitation in ultrasonic baths. This is particularly relevant for routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and validation, where consistent decisions are required across operators and over time.

The device generates documented results and enables traceability via a built-in printer and digital connectivity. This supports trend analysis, audits, and quality assurance of the cleaning process.

CaviTest is used in conjunction with CDWU-Z and is part of Terragenes’ digital ecosystem for process control in healthcare and industry.
