BAX® System Real-Time PCR for STEC Panel 1

The BAX® System Real-Time PCR STEC Panel 1 is aPCR for the targeted detection and differentiation of STEC serogroups in food and environmental samples. The panel is used following screening for virulence genes and enables the identification of specific serogroups within the STEC complex.

The method is based onPCR an internal control and provides clear yes/no results following sample preparation and analysis in the BAX® System Q7. The assay has been validated for multiple matrices and is used in the food industry for verification and product release.
