The Hygiene Diagnostics 51 LED UV flashlight is designed specifically for cleaning inspections and use with Glo Germ™. By shining light on substances that fluoresce (re-emit light), it is possible to detect, for example, urine stains, bodily fluids, and chemical residues.
UV flashlight with a wider beam
The flashlight’s wavelength (395 nm) and number of LEDs provide a brightness that allows it to work well even in full daylight. The beam is wider than that of standard UV flashlights. This is useful during cleaning inspections to get an overview of a larger area and to quickly locate UV markers.
The UV flashlight is recommended for use with Glo Germ markers, but it also works without any markers in specific applications, such as a tool for hygiene inspections in restrooms, where urine contamination in particular is clearly visible.
High-Quality UV Flashlight
The flashlight comes with batteries and instructions in a protective pouch. With new batteries, the flashlight can be used for a few hours. The flashlight’s lifespan is estimated to be between 50,000 and 100,000 hours. The housing is made of stainless steel, and it has a water-resistant rubber gasket around the battery cover.
