The global threat of terrorism is growing rapidly, and with it, the risk of bioterrorism is increasing. Bioterrorism involves the use of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, or toxins to threaten or harm people for political purposes. By usingGlo Germ that simulate contamination, organizations can prepare for this threat.
Historically, there have been a few well-documented cases of bioterrorism. In 1984, a religious cult in the United States deliberately contaminated salad bars at restaurants with Salmonella in an attempt to disrupt local elections. The attack resulted in several hundred cases of salmonella. The 2001 anthrax letter incident in the United States led to 11 cases of inhalation anthrax, with five deaths and an additional 11 cases of cutaneous anthrax. Thousands of workers received prophylactic treatment or post-exposure treatment, and affected buildings were decontaminated at enormous cost. In 1993, a cult in Japan carried out an attack using anthrax spores that spread fear but caused no physical harm.
Glo Germ the Fight Against Bioterrorism
Given that a bioterrorist attack is a low-probability, high-impact event, effective and sustained preparedness is crucial for both deterrence and response. A bioterrorist attack shares many similarities with natural threats to public health resulting from infectious diseases.
Our Glo Germ are now widely used to prepare personnel for bioterrorism and for the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The properties of Glo Germ, gel, and oil make them ideal for use in training personnel in the area of exposure to biologically hazardous and chemically hazardous substances. The size of Glo Germ(1–5 microns and smaller) matches that of typical bacterial cells and hazardous chemical particles.
Glo Germ to all surfaces and can be easily removed with soap and cold water. This makes it a powerful training tool for demonstrating the proper removal of protective equipment and detecting simulated hazardous materials that are invisible in normal light. We recommend Glo Germ for most exercises designed to simulate the spread of hazardous bacteria and chemicals. Glo Germ or Glo Germ can also be used depending on the exercise.
It’s good to know that Glo Germ should Glo Germ be washed out of fabric using soap and cold water. Using hot water can cause Glo Germ to set Glo Germ the fabric. If this happens, the garments can still be worn safely, but they should be avoided for future Glo Germ.
