Petrifilm™ Yeast and Mold Count Plates (YM)

Petrifilm™ Yeast and Mold Count Plates are ready-to-use microbiological test plates for the quantitative determination of yeast and mold. The plate contains a dehydrated culture medium with nutrients, selective components, and indicators that enable clear differentiation between yeast and mold colonies.

This method replaces traditional agar plates and eliminates the need for media preparation, resulting in a more standardized and efficient analysis process. Results are typically available within 3–5 days, depending on the method and incubation conditions.

The plates can be used for both product analysis and environmental sampling in food production, the beverage industry, and other hygiene-critical environments.
