Petrifilm™ Staph Express Disk (STX)

Petrifilm™ Staph Express Disk is used in conjunction with Petrifilm™ Staph Express Count Plates to verify suspected colonies of Staphylococcus aureus. The disk is applied directly to colonies after incubation and enables rapid confirmation via an enzymatic reaction, which is particularly important in the presence of background flora. The method is integrated into Petrifilm and provides a standardized and efficient workflow for food and environmental samples.
