Description
Petrifilm™ Rapid Aerobic Count Plates (RAC) are ready-to-use culture plates for the quantification of aerobic bacteria. The system contains dehydrated culture medium, a gelling agent, and indicators that enable clear colony counting directly on the plate. The method is validated against reference methods and is widely used in food and hygiene control. The main advantage over traditional agar plates is a significantly shorter analysis time, with results typically available after approximately 24 hours.
