Neogen® Sponge-Stick – Sampling sponge stick with pouch

The Neogen® Sponge-Stick series is designed for microbiological environmental sampling on surfaces, equipment, drains, and other hard-to-reach areas where traditional swabs may be less practical. The integrated applicator allows you to reach tight or deep areas without direct contact with the sponge.

The series includes both dry and pre-moistened variants with different media for neutralization, recovery, and transport of microorganisms in environmental monitoring and hygiene control. Depending on the variant, the product is supplied with, for example, Buffered Peptone Water (BPW), Letheen broth, D/E neutralization broth, or a neutralization medium for handling residues from cleaning and disinfecting agents.

Some models include sterile gloves, double specimen bags, or smaller specimen bags designed for specific sampling procedures and workflows.
