Megazyme™ Urea/Ammonia Assay Kit

The Megazyme™ Urea/Ammonia Assay Kit (Rapid) is designed for the accurate and rapid determination of urea and ammonia in complex matrices. The method is based on enzymatic conversion using glutamate dehydrogenase and urease, in which the reduction of NADPH is measured at 340 nm, ensuring high specificity and reproducibility.

The kit is optimized for rapid analysis (~10 minutes) and is suitable for laboratories in the food, beverage, and water analysis sectors, as well as for process control applications where nitrogen compounds (including YAN) are critical parameters.
