Hygiena® Cube Reader

Hygiena is a compact reader for lateral flow tests designed for the quantitative determination of gluten when used in combination with GlutenTox Plus for Reader. The instrument eliminates the need for visual interpretation and provides objective measurement values that can be used for verification within allergen control programs.

The measurement is based on reflectance photometry, in which the intensity of the test line is converted into a quantitative result. Results are obtained within a few seconds of inserting the test strip and can be presented as a qualitative, semi-quantitative, or quantitative value.

The device uses RFID technology to automatically read lot-specific calibration data, ensuring accurate measurements without the need for manual adjustment. The internal memory stores up to 100 results, including metadata (test type, batch, time), enabling traceability and documentation.

The instrument is battery-powered, maintenance-free, and designed for use in both laboratory and production environments.
