Thermostrip® UV

Thermostrip® UV is a simple and robust indicator for verifying UV-based disinfection processes. The indicator consists of a UV-sensitive coating that changes color from white to blue when exposed to UV light. The intensity of the color increases with the duration of exposure, providing immediate visual confirmation that the light is reaching the surface in question.

This product is used to monitor coverage and exposure in UV-based room disinfection, surface disinfection, and other irradiation applications. It is particularly useful for identifying shaded areas or issues with equipment placement.

Thermostrip® UV is a qualitative indicator and does not measure UV dose or microbial reduction. It serves as a complementary tool in the verification of disinfection processes where exposure to UV light is a critical requirement.
