PCR BAX® System Real-Time PCR for Staphylococcus aureus is aPCR test for the rapid and specific detection of S. aureus in food and process samples. The method combines selective sample preparation with genetic detection and provides clear yes/no results with high sensitivity and specificity. The assay is validated for several relevant matrices, such as infant formula, meat, and plant-based protein products. The system runs on the BAX® Q7 and includes internal controls to ensure the validity of the results.
