BAX® System Real-Time PCR for Salmonella

The BAX® System Real-Time PCR Salmonella aPCR for the rapid and reliable detection of Salmonella . in food and production environments. The assay combines selective enrichment with PCR and delivers results in approximately 60 minutes after enrichment. The system is validated according to AOAC AFNOR and offers high specificity as well as reproducible results across a wide range of matrices.

The method is variant-driven and incorporates SalQuant technology for quantifying contamination levels in products such as meat and poultry, enabling faster decision-making compared to traditional MPN methods. Lyophilized reagents in pre-filled PCR minimize manual handling and standardize the workflow.
