Neogen® Molecular Detection Matrix Control

Neogen® Molecular Detection Matrix Control is used to ensure that the sample matrix does not interfere with DNA amplification in LAMP assays. The product serves as an external control equivalent to an internal amplification control (IAC) and is used in method validation, method transfer, and the analysis of new or complex matrices.

This control allows verification that negative results are not due to inhibition from the sample but reflect the actual absence of the target organism. The system is based on closed-tube technology, which minimizes the risk of contamination, and the reagents are pre-dispensed for standardized handling.

This product is used in conjunction with the Neogen Detection System and supplements the internal reagent controls included in each assay kit.
