Hållbarheten på en oöppnad Petrifilm förpackning är upp till 18 månader vid kylförvaring <8°C. Efter förpackningen öppnats är det viktigt att försegla den ordentligt samt förvara den torrt och svalt men inte i kylen! Filmen visar hur förseglingen går till:
Unopened bags should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer
Förvara oöppnade påsar med Petrifilm i kylskåp eller nedfrysta vid en temperatur som är lägre eller lika med 8°C. Strax före användning ska påsarna, innan de öppnas, uppnå rumstemperatur (20–25 °C /< 60 % RH).
Sealed bags should be stored in a cool place or in the freezer
Return any unused Petrifilm the bag. Seal the bag by folding the edge and taping it shut. To prevent the plates from being exposed to moisture, do not store opened bags in the refrigerator. Store resealed bags in a cool, dry place for no longer than four weeks.
Petrifilm can also be frozen.To store opened bags in a freezer, place Petrifilm a sealable container. Whenfrozen Petrifilm be removed for use, open the container, take out the desired number of plates, andimmediately return the remaining plates to the container in the freezer. The freezer used to store opened bags must not have an automatic defrost cycle, asthis would repeatedly expose the plates to moisture, which could damage them.
Check the expiration date
