Hanna® pH Meter for Food

The Hanna® HI-99161 is designed for direct pH measurement in food products, where traditional laboratory electrodes often suffer from clogging or slow response times. The included FC2023 electrode features a robust PVDF body, a conical penetration tip, and an open reference system, making it particularly suitable for semi-solid and protein-rich samples such as meat, cheese, yogurt, dough, sushi, rice, and prepared foods.

The instrument simultaneously displays pH and temperature on a two-line LCD screen and features automatic temperature compensation for more stable measurement results. Automatic one- or two-point calibration simplifies daily use in production, kitchens, food inspection, and laboratory settings. The integrated temperature sensor in the electrode reduces the need for separate sensors and makes measurement faster and easier.

The water-resistant IP67 housing is designed for practical use in food processing environments where spills and cleaning are common. The electrode uses a quick-connect fitting and can be replaced as needed. The HI-99161 is used in food production, dairy processing, restaurants, HACCP, and quality control where fast and robust pH monitoring is required.
