Description
AlerTox® Sticks: Soy PLUS is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the detection of soy protein in production environments and food products. The test is used in quality control and cleaning verification to quickly identify the presence of allergens.
The method is optimized for practical use in production and enables the analysis of solid foods, liquids, and surfaces using swab samples. The test has been validated in several relevant matrices, such as dairy, bakery, meat products, and baby food.
The detection principle is based on specific antibodies directed against soy protein (β-conglycinin), which ensures high specificity without cross-reactivity with other legumes.
