AlerTox® Sticks Egg

AlerTox® Sticks Egg is an immunochromatographic rapid test based on lateral flow technology for the qualitative detection of ovalbumin, one of the most important allergenic proteins in eggs. The test is used directly in production to verify the absence of allergens in raw materials, finished products, and contact surfaces.

The method requires no instrumentation and provides visually interpretable results, making it suitable for routine internal monitoring food production. The test has been validated for a wide range of matrices and enables rapid identification of cross-contamination.

The test is a screening tool and is used as part of an allergen control program.
