Shipping in high temperatures can cause irreparable damage to many temperature-sensitive products. Heat has the potential to damage all types of products, from pharmaceuticals and medical tests to chemicals, food, wine, and flowers.
WarmMark is a single-use temperature indicator that provides insights into your cold chain logistics, so you know which packages may have suffered thermal damage and which were handled correctly.
The indicator turns red when it reaches its temperature threshold. WarmMark then starts a countdown, with its three individual indicator points changing color to indicate short, moderate, and prolonged exposure. These durations vary depending on the temperature. So, for example, “short” exposure means 2 hours at 0°C, but means 30 minutes at 25°C and higher. Based on the temperature and exposure, you’ll know whether a product remains safe and effective or needs to be replaced.
As products become increasingly temperature-sensitive, your ability to gain insights into your cold chain management and logistics becomes critical. WarmMark provides these insights, giving you hard data to support your decisions regarding today’s shipments and your future cold chain logistics.
WarmMark is available in the following temperature sensitivities:
