Thermostrip® WD – Temperature Indicator for Dish Disinfection

Thermostrip® WD is a self-adhesive temperature indicator designed to monitor thermal disinfection processes. The indicator is applied directly to the surface of the instrument and undergoes a permanent color change from white to black when the specified temperature is reached.

The product measures the actual surface temperature of the product during the process and provides immediate visual confirmation that a critical temperature has been reached. Once the cycle is complete, the indicator can be removed and saved for documentation purposes.

Thermostrip® WD is used for routine monitoring and troubleshooting of temperature-related deviations in dishwasher-disinfectors and other thermal processes. It verifies that a temperature threshold has been reached, but does not measure process time or overall disinfection level and therefore does not replace indicators based on the A₀ value.
