Integron® Type 6 Chemical Integrator – Steam Sterilization

Integron® IT28 is an emulating chemical indicator (Type 6) designed for precise control of steam sterilization processes. The indicator reacts only when all critical parameters—time, temperature, and steam quality—reach defined cycle values, providing a high level of safety compared to simpler indicators.

The indicator is placed inside packages, trays, or containers and is used to verify that steam reaches even the most hard-to-reach areas. When the sterilization process is performed correctly, a distinct color change from blue to black occurs, providing immediate visual confirmation that the cycle has achieved the specified parameters.

This product is particularly well-suited for dental and healthcare applications, where short cycles (3.5 minutes / 134 °C) are standard and high precision in process control is essential.
