BAX® System Real-Time PCR for L. monocytogenes

PCR BAX® System Real-Time PCR for L. monocytogenes is aPCR assay kit for the rapid and specific detection of Listeria in food and production environments. The method is based on the amplification of target sequences in the bacterium’s DNA and provides a clear positive/negative result following analysis.

The analysis requires prior enrichment and combines automated DNA extraction, amplification, and detection in the BAX® System Q7 or equivalent systems. Results are obtained significantly faster than with traditional culture-based methods, while maintaining comparable performance.
